Ian is a long-standing Port Macquarie resident with more than 35 years of experience spanning tourism, transport, small business ownership and major event operations. Since making the region home in 1988, he has developed a deep connection to the community and a strong commitment to supporting the growth and success of the Port Macquarie Hastings visitor economy.

As Co-Owner of Indulgence Tours, Ian works closely with local accommodation providers, attractions, wineries and hospitality businesses, giving him valuable firsthand insight into visitor expectations, industry challenges and opportunities to strengthen collaboration across the tourism sector.

Ian brings a practical, operator-focused perspective to the Greater Port Macquarie Tourism Association Board. His extensive industry experience, local knowledge and passion for the region position him well to contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance visitor experiences, foster stronger business partnerships and support a vibrant, connected and sustainable tourism industry for the future.
