About Us

The Propagation Stations story started five years ago at the café next door which is now known as The Nook Café. There were plants growing in water on a stand which weren’t for sale, and as passionate plant people we fell instantly in love. Shaun had to hustle the owner at the time as they weren’t for sale. We walked out of the café plant in hand. From that day a new passion was formed and we started propagating Syngoniums all over our house.

During the Pandemic we started propagating all species of plants with much success and a whole lot of heartbreak along the way. We made the decision to do a market stall and see how people responded and the support we received from the community was overwhelming, somehow it struck a chord and we formed a special connection with the community.

We both to take the leap of faith to open up our first store and attend markets on the mid north coast. it’s been a lot of hard work but the relationships we have built and the knowledge we have gained and shared has been rewarding in so many ways.

We have now grown to having a Port Central residency, Operating our own store, Laurieton Riverside Markets residency and wholesaling to varies local businesses on the Mid north Coast.

Our latest and most most exciting venture is joining the Camden Haven Chamber of Commerce executive committee, Shaun has taken the role of Communications and David has taken the role of Secretary.

As well and being passionate about plants, Our aim is to learn, share and and support local businesses within our community and showcase the beautiful area we live in and lure tourists with all our community has to offer.
