The old gaol is located on a one-acre site, skirted by the Thone River; with the original 1905 Comboyne Police Station and historic slab timber gaol.

Beautiful native timber from fallen trees has been salvaged from our local region and used for the creation of inspired pieces.

Garden Centre
We have a variety of healthy plants available that are locally conditioned, drought hardy and suitable for attracting native birds to your garden. We stock a variety at all times although some plants are seasonal and not available all year round.

A peaceful day out at Larrikins Lock-up
There is plenty of shade for your picnic by the river. Come and enjoy wandering around our gardens of mature trees and shrubs of oak, walnut, birch, cedars, bunya pine, rhododendron, wattle, viburnum and weigela.

Our bowerbirds live here and share the garden with many other friendly birds. The ducks often float by to chat to the horses across the river, while our shy platypus snuggles in his burrow most of the day.
